Archbishop Idahosa left 21 years ago but not without reproducing himself in the lives of many. A day before his departure, he stated that about 73% of Pentecostal ministries In Africa derived mentorship from him. So many leaders in Christendom today can easily be traced to Idahosa. A few examples will suffice. Felix Omobude, President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Ayo Oritsejafor, immediate past president of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN)/PFN, Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy, Mike Okonkwo of TREM, Johnson Suleman of OFM, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams of Ghana and a myriad of others. One especially interesting instance is how he has reproduced himself in one of his spiritual sons, David Oyedepo.
Idahosa had stated in 1986, “This generation has not seen anything yet. They say Idahosa is shaking the Nations, but watch my son coming from Kaduna, he shall shake Nations and generations yet unborn. From what I see, God shall do far more than what He is doing in my life and ministry”. Idahosa has reproduced himself in Oyedepo among his other sons so much that other incidences in their separate lives seem to have aligned with so many crazy coincidences as if by pre-ordination.
